I was the photographer, social media strategist and social creative for Encounters by Insight Vacations - a collection of compelling stories, videos, and photography spotlighting unique individuals, cultures, and environments from diverse and inspiring destinations around the world. The series launched with the story of Martin Buser in Alaska, a legendary musher, champion of humanitarian dog care and 4-time winner of the Iditarod - the world’s longest race that pushes the boundaries of endurance. As well as immersing ourselves in Martin’s world, we visited other inspiring Alaskans and spotlighted epic destinations and experiences for Insight Vacations and its sister brand Trafalgar. Social content has featured on owned organic and paid social channels. Outside of the Encounters platform, imagery has featured in media print ads with a circulation of 630k and destination-focused online advertorial, with a circulation of 23.1m.
